Art Club Week 3
This week, we looked at a variety of photographs of pieces of Art. These photos were taken by Ms.Deering and Ms.Sheridan during their visit to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice. Pupils chose a photo of one piece of art that interested them or they particularly liked. We then discussed our chosen piece. Most pupils loved the colours in the artwork or how usual and abstract they were. We all took our time and explored how we could use these photos to inspire our own art work. At first some children were a little nervous or unsure about what to do or what was expected. However once we talked about how it was our own interpretation, all fear disappeared. It was an exciting and fun process. There was a selection of art supplies available and everyone selected what they wanted e.g paint, pencils, foam, fabric, paper, card etc. Everyone worked on their own individual piece and we were all blown away by the creativity of each final piece. See our photos for some inspiration and go enjoy exploring art without any limitations!
