Baking club week four - chocolate biscuit cake
For our final week of baking club with group one, we made some chocolate biscuit cake! We've included the recipe and steps so that you can try it at home!
Recipe:
*225g unsalted butter
* 200g dark chocolate
* 200g milk chocolate
* 200ml condensed milk
* 150g rich tea biscuits
* 100g digestive biscuits
* 120g Maltesers
* 120g Crunchies
Steps:
Step 1. Line a loaf tin with baking paper. Set aside.
Step 2. Melt the butter, milk cholocolate, dark chocolate and condensed milk in a saucepan. Stirring constantly to avoid burning.
Step 3. Break the biscuits into medium and small pieces. Put them into a large bowl.
Step 4: Pour the chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits, mix until pieces are coated with the chocolate. Add the Maltesers and Crunchie pieces and mix.
Step 5: pour the mixture into your lined tin. Press down with a spoon.
Step 6: leave overnight in the fridge and enjoy the following day!
