Ms. Keogh, Ms. Lacey and the baking club spent the first week making chocolate chip cookies. They were delicious!
The recipe is...
- 75g butter
- 100g caster sugar
- 75g soft light brown sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 150g flour
- 1/2 tsb baking powder
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 75g chocolate chips
Steps...
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Put all the ingredients, except the chocolate chips into a mixing bowl and mix with an electric whisk.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into small balls.
- Place the balls onto the tray.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool and harden.
- Enjoy !
