Creativity in the Classroom WorkshopsWe continued our workshops with our Creativity in the Classroom artist, Jane. We experimented with salt dough, creating our own pieces inspired by nature. We turned our classroom into a theatre and created our own stage backgrounds to match our stories. We even made characters to tell our stories!
Sowing & GrowingWe are taking part in the Incredible Edibles programme. So far we have learned about soil and what plants need to grow. We sowed our seeds a few weeks ago and they are starting to germinate now.
Junior Achievement AwardsOur 5th class members of the class took part in the Junior Achievement Awards. Congratulations to them for all of their hard work.
News 2 DayWe were very excited to be featured on RTE News 2Day. We talked about the work that our school support dog, Snow, does and the difference she makes to our school day.

We met with the artists and read a social story together to prepare us for our visit to the gallery. We also took a sneak peek at some of the art work we will see in the gallery. It will be great to visit the gallery in person at the end of April.
Easter ArtThe end of term brings one of our favourite school traditions...the Easter Art Competition! We have explored lots of different mediums of art; foiling painting, printing, collage. We hope you enjoy looking at our art work!
