Vincent from The National Heritage Council visited our school recently and held a fossil workshop for our 6th classes. It was really interesting to find out about about some of the amazing creatures that existed on our planet millions of years ago. We found out how fossils form and the best places to find them. Fossils can be worth a lot of money so we will be keeping an eye out the next time we visit the coastline.
