Welcome back after mid-term break. Our first half of the term was a busy one!
The students presented their star projects which they had been working hard on before Christmas.
Our classroom library recently got some lovely new additions and we now have some Potterheads in Room 1!
We have been busy studying the 1916 Rising, sketching the 7 signatories of the Proclamation and learning the song 'Grace'.
We have also been learning how to play the tin whistle which has been noisy but very entertaining!
6th Class organised a Sale of Work and helped to raise money while also displaying their leadership and problem solving skills.
On St. Brigid's Day, our class went upstairs to 4th class to help them make their very own St. Brigid's crosses.
We took a trip down to Dolphin's Barn library where the librarian spoke to them about what they could take out on loan and the different ways they could do it.
