We were learning all about space and in particular our Solar System which is a part of the Milky Way galaxy. We learned about how all the planets orbit the sun (which is a star). We learned how some of those planets have moons orbiting them. We learned loads of interesting facts about the different planets like which ones are made of rock or gas, which ones have rings etc. The children put together their own project about one of the planets or bodies in our Solar System.
