We start off getting some pancakes, waffles, pain au chocolat and croissants. We all sit around the table with the laptop in front of us.
We had two speakers who would talk when we would have to speak. We talked about future fundraisers for the year.
We then talked about what would you bring to space no phones allowed and sweets and drinks are there already. We said stuff for our body so we don't stink.
We then talked about the jobs that we have as student reps. We have, chairperson, secretary, announcers, and a lot of other stuff that i forgot.
After we talked about how important it is to be student council reps. How we would listen to people when they have suggestions. How we are kind of in charge of the of suggestions that we get. How we would be working for bake sales and all the fundraisers.
We did a blooket about what we had in the meeting and stuff.

Garda Visit - Denis
Once a garda came to talk to our school about how bad fireworks are for the environment, and how they can hurt you. They showed us a picture of a broken arm from a firework let me tell you it was not in the right place at all, so you have to be all safe out there.
Next, they showed us how people need permits to blast out fireworks, but many people do it without one and they are always out on halloween, so it's risky if you don't have a permit. they also said it's really bad to do them as a kid.
Pats training - Scarlett
Every Thursday someone comes in to our school from the Saint Pats football club. His name is Owen.
Week 1: We started our lesson with a bit of maths from our workbooks, although we didn't do too much since it was only our first week. We designed our own jerseys for St Pats. We then played a match but we didn't count the score.
Week 2: Like the week before, we did some maths in our workbooks and then went outside. This time, we counted the score.Owen split us up into three small teams and two of them played while the other did some games.
Week 3:On week three, as usual we did some maths in our workbooks. Owen couldn't make it, so we had someone else. Like every other week, we went outside and played football. Instead of the third team playing games, we got to do free play.
Week 4: Owen couldn't make it again on week 4, but nobody else could come either so we skipped it and did art instead.

Days 4 and 5:
On our final days of Science Week we designed and created a mechanism to safely drop an egg from our classroom window down to the yard. We worked together in groups and created parachutes, bubble wrap shields and various other mechanisms to protect our eggs. The two eggs that survived used a parachute and a protective layer.
